Installation

Integration with the SDK consists of a few steps:

  1. Create .npmrc file in the root folder of the project with the following content:
@hiven-energy:registry=https://registry.npmjs.org
//registry.npmjs.org/:_authToken=${HIVEN_ENERGY_NPM_TOKEN}
always-auth=true

  1. Obtain NPM access token from Hiven Energy team. This token grants access to the private npm registry and enables the installation of packages for your project.

  2. Export NPM access token as HIVEN_ENERGY_NPM_TOKEN environment variable, so it can be populated in the .npmrc file:

export HIVEN_ENERGY_NPM_TOKEN=<token>
  1. Install the SDK using npm:
npm install @hiven-energy/hiven-client

or yarn:

yarn add @hiven-energy/hiven-client
  1. Poceed with smart charging implementation and enjoy using it.
