Overview​

Hiven is a platform for connecting electric vehicle charging with Hiven services, making the energy consumption process smarter, greener and cheaper.

Integration​

There are 2 ways of integrating with the Hiven API:

Integration type should be chosen based on your requirements.

  1. If you need more control over the API calls, don't plan to use all Hiven features (E.g. chargers integration) and your application is not written using TypeScript, a better option is to use direct API integration.

  2. If you want a quick integration and your application uses TypeScript - install Hiven Client SDK, configure API client once and just call the appropriate functions in order to communicate with Hiven Backend.

Important note: If your application is written in React Native, you can use Hiven UI SDK and Hiven Charts SDK in order to have an access to the Design System to make your ingeration even faster.
